Consider a community calendar

This morning I received a request to make a presentation at a seminar in a nearby town. I had to turn it down because I was already scheduled to do a similar presentation with another group in the same town. When I had to decline, the person who invited said that he wished the other group had checked with their group first. Hmm.

Sounds like an opportunity for an online community calendar. Does your town have one?
