A Web site that exudes the flavor of the community

One of my personal interests is exploring Chamber of Commerce and local government Web sites.  I’m especially interested in gauging how well a Web site captures the essence or personality of a community.  Well, if one ever did just that, it’s the hip, eclectic, upscale City of Madison Chamber of Commerce domain on the Web.  Check it out by clicking here.

The date in the first column is the year household penetration reached one percent; the second column date is when household penetration reached 50 percent:
