New downtown development organzation formed in Clarksdale

Clarksdale, Mississippi community leaders recently announced the formation of Clarksdale Revitalization, Inc. to renew the downtown area.  The new nine-member board is chaired by Bill Luckett, local attorney and co-owner of Madidi Restaurant and Ground Zero Blues Club. The organization will be hiring a program coordinator.  The project has already received over $35,000 in committments.
